RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – VSP Global® today announced the appointment of Indar Chaudhuri as President of VSP Optics. Reporting to Earnie Franklin, VSP Global Chief Operating Officer, Chaudhuri is responsible for VSP Optics’ laboratory network, ophthalmic sales, product development, and supply chain operations.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Indar to our team,” said Franklin. “His deep experience in global supply chain transformation, product management and end-to-end supply chain strategy will be a great addition to our leadership team and our work to further strengthen and grow our product portfolio.”
Chaudhuri most recently served as Global Head of Value Chain at Lonza, a multinational chemicals and biotechnology company. He also previously held senior leadership roles across supply chain and operations at McKesson Corporation and Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering and operations research from Columbia University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers University.
Chaudhuri succeeds Don Oakley, who has served as President of VSP Optics since 2006. Oakley will now serve as a strategic advisor, focusing on the organization’s supply chain, reporting to Franklin.
