Through Hearts at Work, VSP Vision employees can engage in causes that matter to them and be supported by VSP with donation matches, paid volunteer service, and volunteer rewards.
Since 1999, VSP Eyes of Hope has partnered with the American Red Cross to provide access to eye care and replacement glasses for community members affected by disaster. VSP is proud to be an American Red Cross Annual Disaster Giving Program member.
For more than 20 years, VSP Vision has supported the work of Prevent Blindness, which prevents blindness and preserves sight through public awareness, education, programs, and direct health services. Prevent Blindness honored VSP with the Persons of Vision 2020 Award.
In addition to our charitable partners listed above, in 2021, VSP donated a total of $100,000 on Giving Tuesday to three charitable partners in support of their work for communities most affected by the pandemic.
A VSP partner for two decades, The Salvation Army assists families in need through various programs, such as food and holiday gifts, financial assistance to keep people in their homes, and shelter for the unhoused.
GLAM4GOOD partners with non-profits, media outlets, and fashion and beauty brands to harness the power of fashion and beauty to bolster self-esteem, promote positivity, and celebrate courage and perseverance. VSP continues to partner with GLAM4GOOD to make a difference in the lives of women and their families by providing access to free eye care and eyewear.
Monarch School in San Diego, Calif., empowers unhoused students to achieve academic success while providing key social services and reinforcing the existing strength of their families. VSP’s Giving Tuesday contribution was dedicated for alumni scholarships to assist Monarch School graduates with college and work training programs and expenses.
