Dragon Eyewear Introduces New Styles to Their Legends Collection

SAN CLEMENTE, CA – Dragon Eyewear, an internationally recognized, performance eyewear brand with deep ties to the action sports world, announces the launch of three new eyewear styles which fall under the prestigious Legends collection. Dragon successfully builds upon its storied history, while continuing to advance the brand ahead into a new era of growth.

Designed for those seeking expert craftsmanship with a passion for action sports, these three new optical styles feature innovative materials, updated design details and a sophisticated color palette, making the eyewear a focus for both the brand and its consumers.

The new Legends optical styles are constructed using premium acetate, equipped with a new custom milled metal hinge. The outside of the updated hinge discreetly features the Dragon logo, while the inside hinge has a filigree pattern cut out in the metal. All three styles are durable, lightweight and offered in a variety of matte, shiny and tortoise colorations.

The new Spring 2020 imagery features legendary pro surfer and Dragon athlete, Shane Dorian, to front the campaign. The campaign has an opulent look and feel, with a stimulating portrait of Dorian front and center with a surfing action shot distant in the background, tying back to the brand’s prominent DNA. To further amplify the campaign, the image depicts “What Is a Legend?”. This concept will continue for future Legends releases.

Built with masculine lines and premium acetate, the DR7000 is a timeless rectangular shape with a sleek, straight-across brow. The updated metal milled hinge features the Dragon logo as a finishing touch. A square shape that’s slightly oversized and designed with a wide keyhole bridge, the DR7001 is modernized for those with classic, cool style. The updated metal milled hinge adds contrast to both temples. Crafted with retro-styling in mind, the DR7002 is an elevated aviator built with premium materials and unexpected design details. A unique, metal top bar and mixed materials complete this unisex  style.
