RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – Eyefinity®, a VSP Vision™ company and a leader in software for eye care practices, announces SOC 2 Type 2 certification for its cloud-based practice management software, including Eyefinity Practice Management. SOC 2 Type 2 certification is a thorough, third-party evaluation of more than 150 cybersecurity controls, ensuring proactive data protection for practices using Eyefinity software. SOC 2 Type 2 validates the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls against attackers over time. Eyefinity achieved certification in April 2023. The new SOC 2 Type 2 credentials—and annual third-party audits of Eyefinity software —showcase Eyefinity’s continued risk mitigation and defense against attacks. “This rigorous, voluntary certification demonstrates our unwavering commitment to ensuring the security, availability, and confidentiality of our customers’ data,” said Eyefinity Chief Operating Officer Charlie Biegel. “It reflects our dedication to meeting the highest industry standards and providing eye care providers with the peace of mind that their sensitive information is in good hands.” For more information visit eyefinity.com.
