VSP Vision HR Leader Wins Teladoc Health Forum Transformational Leadership Award

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – Today, VSP Vision^™ announced April Bettencourt, Vice President of Global Employee Benefits, was named a winner of the Teladoc Health Forum 2023 Transformational Leadership Award. The award, presented annually at Teladoc Health’s Forum event, honors individuals who demonstrate bold leadership and an unwavering commitment to excellence in driving the adoption of virtual care to help transform healthcare delivery.

With a career spanning more than 30 years in Human Resources, April leads strategic benefits initiatives at VSP Vision where she oversees the implementation of employee health and wellness programs, workers' compensation, and disability management programs. April is a champion for holistic health has implemented several successful initiatives that promote the mental and physical wellbeing of VSP Vision’s more than 14,000 employees.

April's leadership exemplifies these values and has played a significant role in driving positive change within VSP Vision and the broader healthcare landscape.
